Montessori Bed or Ghetto Crib?
I guess it's all a matter of perspective, huh? lol
I had a friend at lunch kind of make fun of the idea of a Montessori Bed a couple weeks ago. Just because she knew people who were ghetto and had their kids on mattresses on the floor.
So what image comes to mind when you think of an older baby/toddler sleeping on a mattress, or some other soft surface on the floor?
Do you think "Montessori Bed" or "Ghetto crib"?
I think the difference is if the baby is asleep on a bare mattress, holding a bottle of kool aid, the same shirt from the day and no pants, a sagging full diaper or....
if the baby is in clean PJ's with a fresh diaper- possibly cloth- being nursed to sleep (either with breast or bottle) by an adult, on a nice clean surface.
